Built by a doctor and a pharmaceutical manufacturer

Aytekin Pahsa spent decades learning the pharmaceutical industry from the ground up — the science, the supply chains, the standards, and the gap between what a label promises and what a product actually delivers.

As a family doctor, Elif Pahsa watched the same tiredness and the same restless nights return to her door for years — and came to understand that a prescription pad, on its own, is a very small tool for a very large problem.

Elif moved into the pharmaceutical sector, and from 2015 turned her focus fully to prevention, nutrition and healthy ageing — because so much of how someone feels at fifty is decided quietly, over decades, by what their body has been given to work with.

Two lifetimes of work came into one room. The idea was simple and, at the time, unusual: build food supplements the way medicines are built — with genuinely bioavailable raw materials, documented quality systems, and no shortcuts on the forms that determine whether a nutrient ever reaches the bloodstream.

TAB opened its own production facility in Istanbul — because manufacturing in-house is the only way to guarantee what goes into a capsule.

The facility earned cGMP certification following inspection by the Turkish Ministry of Health. It is now home to a team of 250 people.

TAB Pharmaceuticals Consumer Health B.V. was established in the Netherlands to bring the portfolio to European consumers.

The 13,500 m² cGMP-certified, FDA-registered facility is expanding to 50,000 m² to meet growing European demand — with the same documented process behind every batch.
